On Thursday night last week, I went to the 9:20 Special, our biggest weekly lindy hop venue in San Francisco. Just wanted to share with everyone the video of the performance I was in last week at the 9:20 Special, our biggest weekly lindy hop venue in San Francisco. It was a huge open house night, meaning everyone got in free, and we got to perform for lots of awesome audience members. :) It was so much fun!

I'm so excited!! I just finished my big ugly 15-page paper for senior seminar, which was the very last thing I needed to do for school before I graduate! It needs to be proofread and edited a bit, I'm sure, but I will have Aaron proofread it sometime before I turn it in on Thursday to my professor. Yay! We made it into the BART Diaries. :) I ran late, so I missed the station where they shot this video, but I made it to the last two stations of the lindy bomb. It was fun!

Tune in to So You Think You Can Dance tonight to see a lindy hop routine choreographed by my friends Carla Heiney and Bromley Palamountain! The Boilermaker Jazz Band will also be featured, and they are an outstanding jazz band. :D I'm so excited to see my friends on this show! While I was at the San Francisco Lindy Exchange, there were some people there who were promoting lung cancer awareness, and they gave out t-shirts and tank tops to us, so we could wear them and do a shim-sham, which would be videotaped and then put up on YouTube for Ellen DeGeneres to hopefully see.
